2.7 k 3d go pro8/1/2023 ![]() ![]() The Max can shoot 5.6K resolution video at 30fps and 3K While 5.6K is a higher resolution than the 5.3K of the Hero 10, don’t be fooled, the quality is not nearly as good. I shot all my test video using the built in auto settings, however there’s plenty of manual controls which will allow you to adjust your video depending on the envirnment you are in. The 5.3K resolution makes for a super crisp image and colors are vibrant without being unrealistic. The Hero 10 video quality is very impressive considering it can fit in the palm of your hand. This processor is the brain of the camera and it’s what makes it (probably) the best action camera on the market right now. This allows for better colors, higher resolution and more frame rate options. This is possible thanks to GoPro’s new processor, the GP2. ![]() This is the highest resolution camera that GoPro has ever made and the ability to shoot in 60fps is an impressive leap. The Hero 10 can shoot an impressive 5.3K resolution video at 60fps other options include 4K and 2.7K 240fps. Both of these cameras are great at both but for different reasons. GoPro’s cameras are well known as action cameras but I think they are also great as vlogging cameras too. GoPro Hero 10 vs GoPro Max: Videoīoth of these cameras are primarily used for shooting video so that’s where we will begin our comparison. On the plus side you can get super creative. This camera can also be used as an action and vlogging camera, however it requires a bit more editing to get the final product. The Max is a 360 camera which is a bit of a different beast it uses two lenses to capture the full 360 degrees field of video so you can capture everything around you at once. It’s a top class camera for the types of videos we are used to seeing on YouTube and is fairly easy to shoot with. The Hero 10 is a standard single lens action camera, it features two screens a built in mount and many video and photo options.
